Background Overview

Facing various issues and challenges in conducting overseas technical internship programs, e.g. desertion of interns, asymmetric information about performance of accepting organizations (AO), disparity of individual performance among interns, and potential new competitions in the era of ASEAN Economic Community, AP2LN embodied a shared belief among Indonesia providers of technical internship abroad program; it is time to

“ build synergistic cooperation’s in advancing the quality of pre-internship preparatory training’s conducted in Indonesia as well as the quality of the Indonesian intern itself ”

to strengthen competitive advantages of Indonesian interns from the perspective of the accepting parties, to stay relevant in global competition by having high capabilities to compete with overseas internship providers from other countries, and also to contribute to the national efforts of reducing the numbers of unemployment in Indonesia.

AP2LN is officially established as an Indonesia legal entity on 31st January 2015 by the notarial deeds of H. Rizul Sudarmadi, SH, M.Kn no. 182 and the legalization decree from the Minister of Laws and Human Rights RI No. AHU-0000598.AH.01.07.Year 2015, located at
